Kualoa Ranch at a glance
Kualoa Ranch sits on the Windward Coast of Oahu, on the opposite side of the Koʻolau mountains from Honolulu. You cannot just walk in and look around. The valley is seen on guided tours, by vehicle, on horseback, by bike or from a zipline, and each one is booked separately.
The ranch is open daily from 7:30 am to 6 pm and closed only on December 25 and January 1. The café opens at 7:30 am and closes at 3 pm. This is an independent guide, not the ranch's own website, and prices below come from the operator's 2026 price list.

Movie sites, jungle and ocean: which tour to pick
The Movie Sites & Ranch Tour is the standard first choice. It is open to all ages, so it works for families with small children. The Jungle Expedition Tour has a minimum age of 3. The Kualoa Grown Tour and the Ocean Voyage are the other 1.5 hour options at the same price.
If you want something more active, the Jurassic Adventure Tour runs 2.5 hours, the UTV Raptor Tour puts you behind the wheel, and the zipline and e-bike tours are for ages 10 and up. UTV Raptor tours are often sold out weeks ahead, so book those first. Horseback riders must be at least 10 according to the ranch's FAQ.
Not sure how much time you have? The Best of Kualoa full-day package includes the ranch house buffet and three 90 minute tours: Movie Sites, Jungle Expedition and Kualoa Grown. Check-in is at 8:30 am and the day ends around 3:30 pm. It starts at $159.95 for adults. The half-day package starts at $119.95 and combines Movie Sites with the Ocean Voyage.

Getting there
Kualoa is not on the Skyline rail line. You can drive, join a tour with hotel pickup or add the ranch's own Waikiki transport for $30 per person plus tax, round trip. By TheBus you need to change buses, so check the current timetable before you go.
What to wear and bring
Helmets are required for e-bikes, horses, UTVs and ziplines, and the ranch provides them. Closed shoes are required for e-bikes, riding and ziplines. Lockers cost $5 for the day. Drones, alcohol and pets are not allowed.
Rain, wind and cancellations

The ranch's own transport picks up at hotels including Aqua Palms, Twin Fin and the Sheraton Waikiki (Aloha Landing). Early-bird pickups serve Hotel La Croix, White Sands and Prince Waikiki. Ask the ranch which pickup suits your hotel.
